OK America, we now have a new President. He started his first day at the National Cathedral in a Prayer Service that had several different religions involved. He says he is ready to make a difference. He says he is ready to make change. Are YOU ready to make a difference? Are YOU ready to do something? Are YOU ready to make a difference? We as Christians must now make a difference, let our voice be heard, reach out to our government. I am not saying we are to become policical leeches, political activists, or anything of that sort. What I am saying is that we must reach out to our Senators, Representatives, President and his Cabinet as we start this new term. We must let our government know what, as Christians, we expect of them. We are living in a country that has a President, Abraham Lincoln, in his Gettysburg Address stating what our government was to be run on when he said :

“that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

Do we believe this? If we do then we must get active by first getting down on our knees in prayer that God will give us the power and strength to turn ourselves as individuals, families, and a nation to turn back to Him and that He will forgive us for our sins and iniquities. We must also pray to Him for His guidance as we take back this nation for Him and His glory. Once we have done this as a nation then we start contacting our President and Represenatives to let them know what we, as Christians, expect them to do and that we are now active and just as easily as they were put in we can fire them with our vote.

WAKE UP AMERICAN CHRISTIAN AND LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD ON EARTH AS IN HEAVEN!!!

As we start the new year, we also inaugurate a new leader for this country. Are we ready for what is coming our way? We have one of  people making the news as Inauguration Day comes closer. First is Dr Michael Newdow, famous for trying to change our Pledge of Alliegance by saying his daughter was stressed each time she said “Under God” in it. Now he is wanting to take “So Help Me God” out of the Oath Of Office. Next we look at two ministers taking part in the Inauguration, Gene Robinson, Gay Bishop from New Hampshire and Rick Warren. We look at what roles they play and the controversy around them. As you listen to todays program, seriously ask yourself this question, WWJD or What Would Jesus Do. As you ask don’t stop there. Get down on your knees and ask God “What do I need to do?” then take action.

We did several shows last year saluting our Military. We remember that it is because of them that we can come together each week to fellowship, worship, and praise our Lord, Jesus Christ. Without the Men and Women of our Armed Forces we would not have the freedoms we so charish in this country. Let us now give one last salute to each of the branches as we close out 2008 and move into 2009.  This program includes two pieces we did not play last year due to time. These are from the God In Motion CD. They are “A Soldirs Letter” and and “Wife’s Response”.

2008 gone and 2009 in the windshield

OK, we made it into the New Year. Now what are we going to do with it? Folks, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and start working harder for The Lord.

Steps to start the New Year Right

1. Take the Bible off the shelf
2. Dust it off
3. Open it up
4. Kneel down and pray to The Lord to guide you as you start to read it
5. Go to your front door and open it
6. Visit your neighbor or family member
7. Share what you are reading and have learned
8. Repeat daily

Now you are ready for the New Year

May God give you a hunger for His Word
